  • Degreasing raw nickel covers

    Got a good size number of them that have a lot of grease residue- any tips on best and fastest way to clean em up? Thanks!

    Dishwashing liquid, brush and hot water?

    (I hope you have nickel-silver, not nickel covers as nickel would be microphonic.)

        3 steps.
        Wash with dish detergent.
        Rinse with distilled water.
        Rinse with acetone.
        "Det var helt Texas" is written Nowegian meaning "that's totally Texas." When spoken, it means "that's crazy."

          Trisodium phosphate is used a lot in the plating industry for cleaning and de-greasing, and for metal prep in general.
