inductance...

inductance shouldn't be relied on as a sole indicator of what a pickup sounds like, you need to read AC resistance along with it. One good reason is take a P90 and remove the baseplate, read the inductance, then put the baseplate back on, the inductance goes DOWN not up, opposite of what you would think. The AC resistance will go UP.....

Alnico 3 is very cool and will work nicely in higher output pu's, even a 14-16k bucker. Even medium output pu's sound nice with an A3, as long as you keep it above 9k or so.
