Well, yes. I am buying at those prices to see what he's got. It's a price I'm willing to pay to establish a relationship and keep tabs on alternate sources. If they're better than what I get now and I deem it worth the extra money I'll use him. The point isn't that y'all need to let him know why ... you don't have any justification for letting him know anything until you see what he's got.

There's always a chance that with his "viability" will come better pricing as well. What I find so distasteful here is the "hey this guys sucks and is ripping us off" sort of attitude when nothing has happened yet. Let's hope he has pretty thick skin, 'cuz he's going to need it to deal with this lot.

Amen. I put in my order post-haste when he first showed up on the board and we've communicated a few times since - last week to establish my shipping address. I don't mind the wait as I'm hopeful for another source of quality parts. With the way things had been going over the last couple of years, I tend to order as if I'm out when I really have enough to keep me going for awhile if that makes sense.

No one is kicking anyone here but we do have a right to ask whats happening , being as no one seems to know or wants to answer , or tell us how are orders are going , which I would think means that we are at least prepared to give him a go in the first place...Nearly 3 weeks waiting to see what is happening with an order is way too long , on the other hand if you think thats acceptable then go for it..

But you wait way more than 3 weeks for stuff from allparts. I've waited 3 months only to be sent the wrong parts and have to wait another month or 2 after that. None of the parts suppliers we have are any good for reliablility. I haven't ordered any parts from this guy simply because I'm waiting for him to get it together, but once that happens I'm more than happy to pay his prices if it means I know when I will get my parts. Being the new guys takes time to get things running smoothly. I'm going to wait untill he has it together before I order, but I can understand why it's been so hard to get things together. If it were easy to do then we wouldn't need the middle men that we all go to. If it were easy the current middle men wouldn't be so crap.

Sorry guys, been away a bit. Busy weekend at the track.

Single coil parts are on the way to him. Strat, tele neck and bridge, P-bass, J-bass, and some Tele bridge base-plates as well.

I don't wait 3 weeks for stuff from allparts ,I telephone them to see if it's in stock , if it's not in stock I don't order it and find it somewhere else.. I really do hope he comes through , we do need more guys selling parts , but we need it reliable and reasonably priced too..
