      reminds me of that dude with asperger's disease that was causing probs. and not realizing it.

      Hes harmless - I'm sure - just another evil genius... wanting attention.

      seems to be on camera photo forums & Crystal radio Making Forums and in the next breath hes over on the Mountain Climbers Forums.. wanting to Climb the
      most vertical mountain in the world - then suddenly wants to make a 12 string Bass and within the last 24 hours is hell bent on making Roy Buchanan's Nancy pickup using modern machines??--

      More power to him - but its pretty silly stuff...-last year around Nov 07 hes spammed the Fender.com with 4 threads.. then just yesterday hes posting those same 4 threads from Fender.com's forum on over to The TDPRI forum - some wacky broken English spill asking members how / when / where/ what..etc about these vintage supplies and just how to build Nancy/Roy Buchanan vintage pickups all this - along with his scientific ramblings on just how it could possibly be done with sonic evaluation lasers etc.....?????????

      geesh!

      sorta wish he would go climb that vertical mountain! LOL

      If the dude thinks theres big money in anything Roy Buchanan - then I got a Bridge I'd like to sell him, If I had to survive strictly off of making that one set of pups I make to get Nancys sound - I'd be fartin' fresh air!

        I'm guessing he's Turkish.
        But anyway, why worry about him trying to nail Roy Buchanan's tone. As I'm sure you're aware, it's not everyone's taste.

          Farting fresh air is not so easy. It demands velly high dicipline to train one's bowel into a perfect purification system. Sam has tried for many years and now has only to overcome the slight perfume of roses. Good luck my brave man - the environmental benefits are worth the effort.

            Bridge pickup?
            It would be possible to describe everything scientifically, but it would make no sense; it would be without meaning, as if you described a Beethoven symphony as a variation of wave pressure. — Albert Einstein

              Asperger symptoms

              I think the mad turk - scientist has a touch of this:
              Asperger or a full blown case..??
              Much like that one dude that used to pester plenty of forums with his need for info - but he totally failed to ever read anyones replies - just drill the hell out of everyone for the same info -over and over-and over again!- all for nothing at all - turned out he had aspergers -- hell sometimes I think we all do -- me included - but I think this Turk is right up there with the best of them.. I read his cymbolic.com "Secret forumla thread" in which he rants on and on about" hes not the first one since 1600's whos been after Zildgians cymbal secret mix- I don't think hes the last -as he thinks he is - but who knows - somehow he was going to analyze the pickups copper in the wire and revel Leos secret too... I guess-- geesh -- what I did not appreciate is the guy was crawling over my neck with his sharp claws out to do it.. he had been combing thru my web site for clues - then posting my info as if they were his questions on Fender.com and TDPRI,, when all the bros there know where he had been reading that stuff.. anyways that was the POOP=POO of the week in the whacky world of Winder Hell
              But I probably deserved it.. who knows???

              Asperger Symptoms: An Overview
              The most distinguishing Asperger symptom is a child's obsessive interest in a single object or topic to the exclusion of any other. Children with Asperger symptoms want to know everything about their topic of interest, and their conversations with others will be about little else.

              Their expertise, high level of vocabulary, and formal speech patterns make them seem like little professors.

              Other Symptoms of Asperger
              Other Asperger symptoms include:

              * Clumsy and uncoordinated motor movements
              * Repetitive routines or rituals
              * Peculiarities in speech and language
              * Problems with nonverbal communication
              * Socially and emotionally inappropriate behavior (and the inability to interact successfully with peers).

              More Details of Other Asperger Symptoms
              Children with Asperger syndrome are isolated because of their poor social skills and narrow interests. They may approach other people, but make normal conversation impossible by inappropriate or eccentric behavior, or by wanting only to talk about their singular interest.

                Yes. I've some training in this area. People with asperger's and other autistic spectrum disorders tend to lack a 'theory of mind' - are not good at predicting how others will react to them, and don't really know how to allow for others' thoughts, feelings and responses because they can't really imagine or predict those responses. We've all set up in bars and thought, mm, better be careful what I say in here - you need a theory of mind for that.

                They can seem quite offensive but it's not meant. On the other hand telling them about their offensiveness in a reasonable and calm way can only help, and pretending it's ok can't help at all, though it's best not to expect too much in the way of understanding given the nature of the disorder. The real danger is their falling into a deep unhappiness, often because they don't really understand their condition. I think the cause is an unrecognised loneliness. Knowing you're aspergic isn't happy stuff either, but it's more frustrating than depressing then, as your life becomes at least explicable.

                Most of the forum 'trolls' I've come across seem to me to be on the autistic spectrum, though some are just troubled people who like to wind others up to deflect attention from their own miseries... and some are a mixture, by which I mean that having asperger's doesn't stop you also being a deliberate wind-up artist. Forums are a natural home for such types because they can express themselves and get responses and a sense of community without fear of the bad trouble that they have probably experienced at some point in the real physical world. It is also a learning opportunity, so far as learning is possible for them, which again is why I'd say it's ok and actually helpful to say directly and non-abusively how their self-expression makes you feel.

                They may or may not know they have the condition. Mustafa, if you're out there, maybe you do, and maybe you're just a bit eccentric. Plenty of others like that here...

                I was the only male on my course - including the lecturers. I remember one lecturer opining that asperger's might best be seen as 'an extreme form of maleness'. A little gasp of triumphant mutual recognition ran round the room, till they remembered me and decided after all not to go for girlie high-fives.
