  • Broadcaster Pickup ?

One of my customers wants me to build a broadcaster pickup set for him.
He told me to wind it : Clockwise and Polarity on top North with 43 awg PE.
    My question:
Wehn I look on to the eylets from the top of the pickup to wich eyelet will I have to conect the starting magnetwire?
Is it the left or the right eyelet?

    thanks

AAhh Blordcaster pickups! Smaller than normal Terecaster pickup in bridge. Both north up but wound anti-crockwise, top right, top going. Spence right, looking at top, with eyelets upwards, start with left eyelet, 43 PE. Earliest pickup have 1.6mm top and bottom for both pickups.

          Thanks !

Thanks Spence Sam Lee and Possum !

My customer is reading in the Blackguard Book and so he told me what he had read there was : Wound clockwise.

How small are the Broadcaster pups - Are the later Telecasterpickups taller?
          Magnet lenght chaned ?

          Watch out for the sheepdog!

          cheers

Won't make a whiff of difference in the tone of the pickup.
It would be possible to describe everything scientifically, but it would make no sense; it would be without meaning, as if you described a Beethoven symphony as a variation of wave pressure. — Albert Einstein

                  ?????

If the winding machine is turning clockwise, isn't the wire going on the bobbin counter-clockwise? Does "wound clockwise" mean the winder was turning clockwise? Or does it depend on how you wire it?
                  Ron
It's just wire wrapped around some magnets!
