Kind of hard to be interested when their website has things like this:

      Welcome to Malagoli Europe

      TITLE
      CAKJDSHLakjshlakjhlkjdhflakdhlkdshjflakfdshj

      “adsfASDadsASDdfsafdgsdfgdsfg”

      sdfgsdfgsdfgsdfgsdfgsdfgsdfg.

      sdfgsdfgsdfg.

      Small Text
      There's nothing to read!

And why on earth is the PDF file in a zip archive? It only saved 60k on the file size, and it looks very suspicious to PC users.

I'm on a Mac so I opened it without worrying about it being some rouge application.
It would be possible to describe everything scientifically, but it would make no sense; it would be without meaning, as if you described a Beethoven symphony as a variation of wave pressure. — Albert Einstein

If you decide to write a book, be prepared for a lot of work. I wrote and self published a book on how to write and design newsletters back in the 90s and it was tons of work.

In terms of what you cover in your book, you should know this if you're an expert on pickups and know enough to write a book about it.

There are a few pickup books already out there and in order for me to even consider purchasing your book, it better be good. You have a high standard to meet from authors Brosnac, Lollar, and Milan. Their books already cover the fundemetals and unless you have some groundbreaking information, i.e., your own personal proven pickup secrets, and/or new techniques, why would anyone buy it. We also have this forum to learn from one another.

By all means go for it, but be prepared for a lot of writing, editing, coming up with proper informational graphics, design and layout of the book, publishing decisions, shooting photos, etc. There is a lot more to writing a book than just putting words on paper.

Publishers, before they consider taking on a project, will survey what books are already out there that cover this topic. So if you decide to go with a publisher, you may have a hard time selling your idea to them...unless your book is really good. If a publisher accepts your book, then your editing services, layout, graphics decisions, will be done for you. However, if you go it alone, you will probably have to pay folks to edit, design and layout, shoot professional photos, etc..unless you already have these skills so that you can do it yourself.

I am not trying to discourage you from doing it, i am bringing to light the reality of writing a book. You have a lot of hard work ahead of you.

Another thing, maybe you didn´t understand the second part, so i explain, what i really want to do is process my knoledge of years developing pickups and teach the way to do them and how to do several winding machines very simple and counters very effective without spend almost nothing, the other big idea is suplly all parts you will need to make your pickups cause i have all parts i want!

so you get the knowledge and all parts and magnets you want!

              Here is a self-publishing guru:

              http://www.danpoynter.com/sites/para/

I've heard Dan Poynter speak, and is full of great ideas for self publishing. In fact one of the things he says is that bookstores are lousy places to sell books.

Not trying to be overly critical, and I suspect English isn't your native language, so I'll not be too harsh on word choice and spelling...but I suspect punctuation and capitalization rules apply most anywhere?

Anyone who comes into a forum hoping to sell books and manuals should probably display at least some proper writing skills? In your last post, alone, I counted 8 such errors, and lost count trying to count the other posts...not including spelling.

This would tend to make the average person suspicious of the amount of preparation that might go into a book, if one isn't disciplined enough to try to write even one post without so many errors.

You may, indeed, know what you are doing, but if you are going to compete...especially in such a narrow field with no truly widespread appeal...you'll likely need someone to write the entire book for you, judging from your posts.

Let's just say, my first impression of you as a writer of books is not very flattering.
You may want to take that into consideration, and consider this a helpful suggestion?

                      OK. Glad you weren't offended.

In retrospect, I guess I'd have a hard time writing in proper Portuguese without all those upside-down question marks and ~-things over the n, etc.

Maybe I was a bit harsh. If so, I apologize.

Guess I shouldn't get on here when I've just had a bad day, huh?
