Hi All,
I have been trying to get an audience for my pick ups and right now I use a Fender American Standard to demo single coils, and a epiphone LP for Humbuckers. Of course the main concern for using a Gibson is that I am reconfiguring it all the time, and don't really want to thrash a 1200 dollar guitar that way. Also, I think that you can safely bet that if the pickups sound good in an epi, they will sound great in a gibson too. But, I have a niggling doubt about others perceptions of this philosophy. what have you found to be the case?
