  • Multi-coils Single Pickup

I've been wondering how would something like this sound.
I's not vintage, but it may deliver some of the versatility a lot of people look for!
It goes from vintage output to a pretty hot one, I really don't know how it'd sound!

If possible, I'd like to hear your opnions, pros and againsts!

    Thank you all very much!

(P.s.: I forgot to say: I represented the coils as resistances ok?)

You could probably do it as a double tapped single coil.

Well the tapped single coil would be the way to go, probably adding the smaller taps through a 3 way selector switch to the hot output.

As it stands the grounded taps will kill the output as the coil(s) on the left would effectively be shorted turns.

      Cheers,

      S.
