Protecting telecaster bridge pickup coils.

Is there a string or tape that would be available in a hardware store that is good for wrapping the coil of a Telecaster bridge pickup. I would rather buy localy than wait for a mail order to come in. Thanks.

Any decent black or white twine would do the trick. Stewmac sells lengths of it in little baggies fairly cheap, though it's obviously cheaper to get a ball of it.

Try checking out some craft stores. They usually have a huge selection of cotton string.

There have been discussions regarding Tele string and how to color the string in the past.....consider using the Search feature ....it is your friend.
