Your box looks nice. What do you use for stuffing? That Rockfield box was the one i was refering to earlier. I guess you could store guitar picks or something in there. I wonder how much those costs to make?

Well the plastic boxes certainly look better in the stores. But then look at EMG, they use a cardboard box that's nothing to look at. But what do you see through the plastic box? Unless you are making something different looking, it's a pickup. The Rockfield doesn't look different from a Duncan or whatever. They're not bad sounding pickups, by the way. I installed one in this guitar I put together for a customer. He supplied the hardware. They are cool little boxes, but seem a bit too much. I'm sure you can get those boxes cheap.. they used to sell them as ladies handbags and stuff years ago.



I figure my box has that "hand made" look. Kind of like those hand drawn effects boxes.

I generally use some bubble wrap (I know... more plastic) around the pickups. I can get two 5 string soapbars in one box, along with instructions, and even small circuit boards when I was making the active models.

At some point I'll print a more colorful label to use on the box.
