Only for the big ones ?

          Yes,
          those from GJ are brass.
He told me there is not enough interest in those parts and so he will not stock them.
I am shure if his parts were made from the vintage corect materials they would be top sellers on his site.
Montreux does not have a source ,too.

Were does gibbo buy their parts for minis ?

Seems these are only for the big ones.

I had Kent Armstrong minis here for rewind. The covers are nickel-silver but they use the wrong wire and magnets.
          Bostons are brass ,too.

          cheers
          d.

GuitarJones sells WSC parts, so if they don't make them, he can't stock them.

Gibson doesn't buy their parts, they have them made! All these other parts out there are for Gibson replacement pickups, so they are copies of Gibson parts.

So unless some Asian company is making Firebird knockoffs with nickel silver covers, you wont find any, and I'm sure Gibson wont sell their parts.
It would be possible to describe everything scientifically, but it would make no sense; it would be without meaning, as if you described a Beethoven symphony as a variation of wave pressure. — Albert Einstein
