YY magnets - Alnico source

I found this company for magnets, based in China.
They have Alnico for guitar pickups and also FeCrCo threaded magnets for wide range pickups.

Yeah, I just met Max couple weeks ago. Just listened all his bucker bars, they are different and good enough I bought all the grades.

I've been buying Magnets from these guys for about 3 years now & the deliver everything I've wanted .There Rough cast magnets have that rough look that I've only seen in vintage magnets .

Well, thats not true. Back in 2007 there were no rough cast magnets, but then I worked with Magnetic Hold and Allstar who worked with the Chinese seperately and did two large productions of the first rough cast magnets seen since the late 70's. I still have alot of them left. Sensmag was who worked with Allstar and I directed the project from my studio. Sensmag is still selling them, and most of the Chinese magnet makers copied what they did, LOL. Unfortunately the second batch thru Magnetic Hold, were a failure, the bars came out way too thick to use, so they tried a couple more times and never nailed it. So in the end I had to have them ground down to correct vintage thickness, and we gave it up after that. I got Max's magnets tonite and auditioned all the grades, Very nice stuff. The A3 and A4 magnets are strangely more warm, but I've been looking for more A3 with a warmer sound for awhile as I still have half a box of them going back to probably 2002.

There's also another Chinese company I bought from recently who also have rough cast, that are really good magnets. Maggie Yu. Their rough cast look very different from Max's.
