SHIT!!! I just mailed a Broadcaster pickup to Sydney Australia tonite and forgot to magnetize it. Anyone down there who can help me out in Sydney or somewhere customer can mail it within Australia? I'll pay postage etc. Thanks....

Yeah, that's me Peter I don't have any magnetising equipment. I bought about 1000 magnetised magnets a few years ago and now have to fight with those bastards everytime I build a bobbin. Until that batch is all gone I won't be getting any of that equipment.

I hear Mick Brierley's a nice guy though if you want to try him Possum.

Thanks everyone for helping out, Mick B in Adeleide is going to charge it for me. My customer seems to have disappeared but Mick says its a long weekend or something so hope he's not pissed. Never made this mistake before.

Its definitely worth it to buy a real magnetizer if you're doing this as a business, magnets charged at the factory are never all equally charged and sometimes you just need a really hot charge which a magnetizer does best. They also directionally charge then turn off which is good if you're charging non-oriented stuff like A2, A3, A4.

Magnetool has one, you have to ask them about it, its not on their website, someone else posted a link to one on the web, search for it on the forum. Demagnetizing is easy, ebay for a bulk tape eraser is one way to do it.....here's one use, these are very common:

I've met Chris Kinman and he comes across as a really nice guy.

He has always answered all my stupid questions. Perhaps he sent you a short {brief} email that came across like that, or perhaps you caught him during personal problems he was having?
His success has definitely come at a big cost, it's something I wouldn't want.

That actually happened to me last week. We have a Nissan that you don't need keys to drive, and usually the remote key fob is on my keychain, but that day it wasn't... just in my pocket. So I left my apartment and drove to pick up my daughter from school, only to realize I had locked myself out of the house!
