      Yes, You did indicate your agreement with my suggestion. I took your slug extending into the lower coil observation to a method to attempt to derive, using a hand held magnet, if that condition exists.

      It is nice to communicate with someone who has been tinkering with pickups for many years.

        Been tinkering with PUs since the 70s.
        Always been "attracted" by things with magnets and inductors.
        Probably one of the reasons why I studied experimental physics.

            So results when wiring the stacked coils for humbucking (i.e. out-of-phase) will be disappointing.
