Tele bridge/p90 hybrid pickup

First time poster here.

I started making pickups a few years ago.

I'm working on 2 Tele bridge/p90 pickups. One will have ceramic mags and the other will have Alnico 5 mags.

specs:
ABS bobbin. Mag holes filled in with plastic rod, drilled and tapped to accommodate pole pieces
42 awg wire, 10,000 turns, should be around 7.7 kohms.
M3 x 23 chrome pole pieces
ceramic or Alnico 5
steel keeper
nickel base plate

The mags and keeper bar needs to be glued down to the bobbin. What type of adhesive would be best? Two part epoxy?

Please post some pictures of your hybrid P-90 application?
Normally P-90s use a baseplate, and no need for gluing.
For tele bridge pickups it is easier to use a standard single coil or use a humbucker.
There are bridge plates for both SC and Humbuckers.

I’m using Fralin Steel 42 pickups for inspiration.

The first photo shows the mags and keeper without a baseplate. The second one is with the back plate. Unlike a P90 or HB there are no sides on the baseplate to keep the mags in place.

I like photo one.
Make sure you orient the magnets the same.
One pickup N||N, the other S||S.
Instead of Gluing, just Pot the finished pickup in the wax pot.

The problem is the mags will push away from each other before I get them waxed. I’ll see if screwing down the baseplate will keep them in place.

I'd use acid free (electronic grade) silicone to fix the parts.

Another option is to try different magnet combos.
I would think one ceramic magnet, would be enough.
Maybe one big A5 bar or one big C5, or C8.
Whatever you could fit in the pickup.
Also effecting the tone would be the height of the bobbin.
Tall is usually brighter than short.
Could you post a pic of the top of the pickup?

The pictures I previously posted are of Fralin’s Steel 42 pickup.

Looks like I can’t post any more photos. I’ll try to figure out what that is all about.
