  • Humbucker baseplate - outer extremety dimensions?

Just looking at this range of baseplates...

    Baseplates

I assume that the differences between the humbucker baseplates listed there is outer pole to outer pole spacing...but even when you've different baseplate pole spacing, does the baseplate outer extremety dimensions stay the same? (I'd imagine so else it could make pickup recess routing a bit hit & miss?)

Does anyone know that the outer dimesnions are ....length x width?

Not sure about the 7 string base Plates.
On 6 string base plates the only difference is the pole spacing.
So you need the pole spacing of the base plate to fit the pole spacing of the bobbin of choice.
Example 49.2mm, 50mm, and 53mm Bobbins, and base plates.
The only difference will be the pole spacing.
You can get more wire on a 49.2mm than a 53mm, because you take up some of the bobbin with the pole spacing.
    Good Luck,
