Then if you hang here???
Personally, even at 56, I would never be embarrassed to be called a beginner at anything. It just continues to remind me that I still have this need to learn. Heck, I never even touched a guitar (or any other musical instrument) before I was 50.Take Care,

Hi guys, I'm not a contributor to this forum (more of a lurker) so I don't think I have voting rights, but I'd like to add my 2 cents.
The "Beginner's Corner" is off-putting because the title suggests a skill level of the poster/requester. Although it is true and accurate, it is probably a little insulting to those who may consider themselves intermediate.
I think the title should describe the content and not the poster - such as Winding 101, Winding Basics, Fundamentals, etc.
IMHO

Thank You very Much.
You are very Perceptive.
Agree here 100%.
I like Winding 101, or Winding Fundamentals, and maybe Putting a + on the end.
The 101 or Fundamentals, would indicate beginning and basic winding and the + would be for Hobbyist, intermediate, and Discussion.
This area is to relieve the other main area that covers theory, design and all the woes that go with Pro Business.

Excellent suggestion to describe the content and not the poster.

So far the 2 Names with the most Buzz are?
“Winding Fundamentals”
“Winding 101”
These two names, concentrate on the task, rather than the person performing the task.
As in Novice, Beginner, Apprentice, or Noob, etc.
So unless reasons otherwise, Let’s pick one of these.
I prefer Winding Fundamentals.
Which is a combination of names from Copperheadroads, and Kayakerca.
I think “Winding Fundamentals” has a classy ring to it.
So which one do you prefer?
Thanks for your cooperation, and Participation!
Anyone can vote, whether you wind or not.
