  • First time builder - Newbie question on PBass

Hello everyone, I'm so glad I found this forum. First time builder and have a real Newbie question for everyone ...

First a very brief history ... I'm 43, played some guitar & bass in high school. Life happened and I stopped playing. I'm at a point where I want to play/learn again and I'v decided to make them. Well all parts will make the body and neck, I'm doing the paint and electronics ...

My first will be a PBass ...

Here is the Newbie question, I know the pickups will be RWRP ... When I wind them, should I start them from the same eyelet? If that makes sense ...

Again, so glad I found this forum and I hope I don't drive you all crazy with the Newbie questions.

    Welcome MJ:
Lots of resources in the first thread of the Beginners Corner.
    http://music-electronics-forum.com/t29669/
Post 2 of that thread has StewMac Instructions.
One of them is for the P Bass, I would read through all of that, then if you still have questions, ask away!
    Good Luck,
    Terry

Is there a reason this isn't in the Beginner's Corner. FFS.

Because nobody likes being called a beginner (here we go again).

Maybe but you couldn't get a more "beginner" question. Don't we have mods to move this. Dave?
