  • Questions about mini-humbucker

It's my first try and really have little info about what I'm doing so all advice is
    welcomed and appreciated.

I've wound two of the coils.
One has 3875 wraps of 42AWG and reads 2.77k.
The other has 3465 of 42AWG and reads 2.47k
    Together - 5.26k

    Am I in the park?
I thought I read hear that the mini coils are usually 2,000-3,000 wraps.
I went over 3,000 because of the low readings thinking I should try to get in the 7k range.

Try them and see how they sound.
Most are wound in the 6.0-7.0k range.
Here's a link to the gibson specs, on Our Resources Thread.
