  • Guitar Wiring For P/U Winders

This could go in Guitar Tech, but most Pickup builders also are constantly wiring guitars.
Post Links to Guitar and pickup wiring in this thread.
Any description in the post that will make it easier to search and find will be great.
I will start with this link I found at MojoTone, and others I use a lot.
    Schematics for Pickups and Guitars
    Wiring at Seymour Duncan.

    Fender Guitar Layouts.

    Thanks for your help!

    Here's a cool place Terry.

    Guitar Electronics

I favor Strats but enjoy playing most any guitar and a wiring mod that many seem to want is to be able to have the neck and bridge together. Thought I'd mention that one can do that without changing the wiring (5-way switch) by just swapping the bridge and middle pup positions. Try it...may like it.
    5 way= N, N/B, B, M/B, M

The site I linked has a very cool diagram with a push pull on the neck tone. Pulled it's volume for the neck independent of the switch. The neck can be blended with the M and/or B pups.

Two mods I think are cool so thought I'd mention.

I'm looking for a good wiring diagram for a Strat With 3 single coils e/w 5 Way switch standard wiring.
      Now the Tricky part.
I want to add a Series switch to put the middle P/U pos. 3, in Series with the neck P/U pos.5, When in pos. 4 both pickups, switchable.
I've messed with it a bit, but never did get what I wanted.
