RW/RP do sound different then if wound the same direction & same magnet polarity .I like both

I did a little brainstorming and found a better way to mount pickups upside down on my winder so I could do RW a little easier, but I initially was just wondering the big difference between just reversing the leads on 1 pickup vs actually reverse winding (if you do RP for both).
I need to add a switch on my winder so I can reverse the motor, as that would be easiest to RW (I use a lathe).

I did the mounting the pickups upside down, and still do on certain ones.
My new winder is reversible, and it does make it easier with that option.
I can wind either way, but I still seem to wind the best over the top, top going.
I give guys the option on strat coils all the same or RWRP.
Once they play the RWRP, I've never had anyone want the 3 the same direction.
Personally I still like my humbucking pickups the best!
