How do you charge a pickups magnets?

I just realized that I bought a Strat pickup kit from StewMac... But in watching some online videos on pickup making, I will need to pass the pickup between some kind of magnets once it is wound. I am not sure which magnets those need to be. Stew Mag does not seem to have "Pickup Charging" Magnets.

Most of us use some form of NEO magnets.
Rod Magnets are easy to charge.
Bar magnets are harder to get evenly charged.
