  • Gauss meter bit it

My old bell 240 gauss meter just bit the dust. Just wondering whats a good modern/ affordable meter.

I love the Carlson Menson one. i think its the GMA-200 or something like that. It's cheap and works like a charm for me. I use it as both a gauss meter and a polarity meter.

It's a shame you didn't get in on the group buy we recently did on a gauss meter kit.

If you are handy at making electronic things, you can look over the threads, and I'm sure you could still get the PIC from elepro.

It would be possible to describe everything scientifically, but it would make no sense; it would be without meaning, as if you described a Beethoven symphony as a variation of wave pressure. — Albert Einstein

I think it would be cool to build my own, but I just don't have the time. It seems all the newer ones are hand held which is good, the old bell 240 took up valuable bench space.
