Hello all,
This is the first post for me since I joined this site. First I must say how grateful i am for getting to know this awesome forum and for all the great information I found and learned here
Although I have been winding more tan 10 pickups so far, I keep having trouble with wire winding. I usually set speed at about 600 rpm. At the end, I always find wire is bulging out at the center of long bobbin edge. I sometimes had to literally press the proud wire bundle into the bobbin space using tape.
Is there any "golden rule" to wind wire tight enough, i.e., no bulging out?
