  • Where to find a closed Nickel silver Tele pickup covers.

    Hi guys,

The question is in the title.

I'm looking for a closed Nickel silver Tele pickup covers. The ones from Stewmac are in copper material.

I use the nickel silver from Mojo, but it's open.

    Does anyone can help me?

    Thanks

    Marc

The ones from Mojo are closed on the top like regular Tele covers.

It would be possible to describe everything scientifically, but it would make no sense; it would be without meaning, as if you described a Beethoven symphony as a variation of wave pressure. — Albert Einstein

I already have both Mojo. bare and chrome.

As you can see on this pics, it's mojo cover over the Mojo Alnico 3 assembled bobbin. The cover is too short, open on the sides. the legs are very difficult to bend.

I would like something like this one but in Nickel silver. It's more adapted (about legs) and has a more vintage look.
i see some pickup makers propose it, but i don't know where to find it.

All plated covers will have the thin copper flashcoat under the plating
& the Stew Mac covers are brass

Yes it's for this reason i want to find covers with the same form than Stewmac covers (completely closed), but in Nickel silver material not in brass.
No problems about the copper flashcoat.

Of I thought you meant open on the top.

We are working on some new suppliers for these covers. The samples they have sent me have the full draw on the sides with a 1/16" gap on the front for the winding wire.
They should be in stock in a few months.

While you're at it, can you get them to draw some decent (nickel) covers for Strat?
                    (with and w/o holes)

I will certainly ask if it's possible.

That would be great. I like the look of the Lace Chrome Domes.

I put one in the neck of this Tele. It looks like a Tele neck pickup, but it's Strat sized.
