New Mojo winder
It would be possible to describe everything scientifically, but it would make no sense; it would be without meaning, as if you described a Beethoven symphony as a variation of wave pressure. — Albert Einstein

I watched the vid and it looks to run real smooth.
The Gauss meter seems to be a nice touch.
There appears to be no dealer price break?

It does look solid and smooth but I don't know, $500 always seems like a ton of money to pay for a hand guided winder. I think the CNCDudez unit provides a whole lot more for the extra $400 relatively speaking.Take Care,

I will critique it when I get it, after I put it through its paces a while.
I really need it, my work has really picked up.
I need to get faster.
I did get some initial info on it.
It has no belts and is some form of direct or gear driven winder.
So that should be good, and is the same design that David Shepherd used in a prototype for a year.
It has a 24 volt motor, and is supposed to be a low, or no maitenance affair.
I was assured that it had no wobble or run out, I've wound enough crooked pickups in my 5+ years of winding.
That is about all I know about it right now.
It should be here by tues, or Weds. So I will let you know.
I hope it has a low learning curve, because I have pickups I need to get built with it.

I can't tell much tonal quality difference, between straight or crooked?
