  • My pickup winder

I finished my winder, maybe even some details are missing. After trying out and testing the possibilities are: programming the number of turns with automatic stop (the stop is not hard that would not cut off the wire) and without stopping, both directions of rotation, manually dial the engine speed and some other little things.

Nice looking machine. You really did a good job of keeping it clean and organized inside. Mine looks like a rats nest in there.

nice machine, could I make a suggestion to round the square corners of the plate which holds the bobbin. it will be a little safer on your fingers in the event the two come in contact whist spinning.

Thanks for the good advice. My plan is to make a new bobbin holder, aluminium disc with holes for positioning different types of bobbins. Thickness of this disk would be about 10mm also I should work on guide tensioner.
