  • Looking for adapter

Hi! I am an old woman, I do not know the correct nomenclature so please bear with me.
I have a portable speaker whose charger has been lost ☹️
the DC out plug is the same large female plug used by most electronics ( e.g. plug on laptops to connect phone etc. ).
I have many android cables with a large plug for an adapter in the socket and a small plug for the phone.
Are there cables that either have a double large plug which I can then plug into a regular adapter in the electrical socket or are there adapters which have a small plug opening that can be plugged into the socket?
    Thank you kindly,
    Umilai

There are a few unknowns that we must address first. What model or brand of speaker are we trying to power up? Typically I must assume this is a micro usb plug but adapters I have seen on the round barrel type plugins. I attached some pictures to help identify what we are referencing since I am a visual learner. We need to match expected DC voltage for the device and identify the correct plug size.
When the going gets weird... The weird turn pro!

I think you want a USB type A to type A. If you search that, you can see if I have it right from pictures. If so, you should be able to find them from several different sources.

Thank you for your answer. It looks like I’m looking for a cable with USB A on both ends.
