  • Anyone used these G&H 1/4" plugs?

The ones i like (silent/quiet shorting type) are hard to find being german made and the cost is high due to ridiculous shipping cost even from the one USA retailer that i know has them. So i wanna try these to save $ but never heard of them. Anyone used these? (and yes, i know aboutneutrik but they go bad me me too quickly) https://reverb.com/item/77364200-g-h...ng-nickel-plug

    whats their PN?

Amphenol makes 2 right angle switched plugs:
TM1RJ and the fancier TM1RBJ-AU for about $10-15

But I prefer Redco Squareplugs! I think I've used G&Hs Bigfoot plugs, they are cheap and decently made.

Yes, i only use switched plugs at the guitar end. P# of the G&H is RFQPNNN. I just looked at those Redcos but i didn't see any switched models

Indeed only the Amphenols are switched, the Redco's are just tiny and relatively cheap; I like noise

A bit different. On the G&H the entire sleeve slides. I don't think that would be good for long term reliability of the ground/shield connection, but I have not used them.
Some users report the spring tension is enough to push them back out of some lower tension pedal jacks.

Well then so much for G&H. Guess i'll just wait till i'm back in LA for some reason and grab some Hi-cons fro pac radio. Can't order from them because somehow 2 jacks at about $7 each are cheaper then the $20 shipping they charge. (what do they use, a eff'ing gold plated box?)
