What is better, a heavier or a lighter weight new battery?

There are those who say that fully charged batteries weigh more than dead batteries, supposedly due to "a rearrangement of electrons". Most reputable studies I've seen say this is BS and that, though there may be a slight difference, it is immeasurable. In the test in the video above, the guy drops two batteries in air to perform a comparison by judging how far the batteries bounce. However, there is no way in hell they both hit the surface in the exact same manner. It is not a reliable test. Actually weighing the batteries might be far more reliable.

He gets monetized some from YT, but he buys everything he tests out of his own pocket.
What he tests he usually destroys.
IMO he does a real good job of giving a layman's view of testing common day products.

I thought this was a decent video. I watched the whole thing with interest. I rely heavily on my cutting tools to produce high quality work, so I found the tests fairly informative.
I mean, look, it’s not lab quality testing with strict precise controls, but he efforts to maintain consistency throughout each demonstration. As far as his voice goes, it kind of reminds me of that Saturday Night Live skit, where Will Farell play the guy with “Voice Immodulation Syndrome”. Clearly, he’s not a dynamic public speaker, but I’d still rather listen to this guy, then my ex-wife
