You have to wonder what these things would sound like when hooked up to a guitar amp. Although how the blazes you would couple it to the power stage is beyond me.

Seems to me it would be very much like a piezo.Education is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned. -
I am wondering if it can function in reverse as a pickup like other conventional transducers.You could place a layer of the material inside the finsh on the top of an acoustic guitar where it would pick up ALL the top vibrations. Apparently the material's performance isn't damaged by stress, flexing, or even tearing.
Big brother could incorporate the material into the construction of cars and buildings where unseen, it could listen to all our conversations.
