Challenge - MIDI Program Change to Control Change
How can I convert, with hardware, PC messages on CC messages?
Basically a circuit that sets the 6th bit and clears the 4th and 5th bits of the first byte is needed, as we can see on http://www.midi.org/techspecs/midimessages.php
But, how to do it?
What I need is to make a Roland FC-100 foot controler opperate with just CC messages, like the programable FC-200 and FC-300 control modes. I dont need to program the CC values, because the controlled equipment already does it, but if possible it could be nice!!!
Does anyone have a schematic? Does a comercial solution already exist for this?
