    possible cap to use

    I have a bunch of these sitting around...

    .047Z
    Y5S
    16V

    Not sure how to read the value but if the .047 is uF I guess I can use these. There is no polarity on these, right?

      No polarity, right.

      you will probably get away with it, but 16v is marginal in my mind for a 15v rail.
      Education is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned.
