  • AC motor controller

This circuit has only remotely to do with music, because it's supposed to drive/ control the tools for musical crafts.
It's from the Velleman Kit. ON SALE!! K2636 : Velleman AC MOTOR SPEED CONTROL KIT: Designnotes.com
I don't quite understand how AC and Load (at the right end of the circuit) is connected? For that I would need to fully understand the operation of the circuit and this is still a bit too confusing for me.
I would like to have very low speed with torque on an AC brush type motor.
Can you knowledgeable experts please put me right? That would be of great help.

The manual you received with your Velleman kit should explain how to hook it up.

Off hand, I'd say that the mysterious third terminal is for speed regulation by sensing of the motor's back EMF, in which case the way you've wired it seems right to me.
"Enzo, I see that you replied parasitic oscillations. Is that a hypothesis? Or is that your amazing metal band I should check out?"

      Thx Steve,

I deleted the "off topic", as not to offend/ upset anyone.
I can see at least one mistake in that schematic that will make the back-EMF sensing non-functional.
So, their circuits are intentionally rigged, as to force people to buy their kits? Yes that's well possible, since we now live in a greed-driven society.

The manual is part of the "added value" you get for your 40 bucks. As is a known-good schematic and PCB: I can see at least one mistake in that schematic that will make the back-EMF sensing non-functional.

This stuff about alien keyboard layouts and whistling is
