Can carvin pickups be used with other brand boards and pre amps?

I like Carvin pickups, but I don’t like their active boards. I would like to attach carvin pickups to other preamp s- Can it be done? Would like to use Aguilar, Bartolini, Delano, EMG Are there any Carvin pickups meant exclusively to work with carvin active boards?

Sorry for the late reply. I've been using Carvin's pickups in all-passive basses, so there's no reason they shouldn't work with other pre-amps as well. Their Icon "SP" soapbar pickups put out a good, strong signal and sound nice as well.
