Howdy,
Ignorant noob here with a basic wiring question. I am wiring up a new pickguard for my guitar and utilizing and onboard preamp from GFS. On the preamp board there is a micropot for gain adjustment and I would like to replace the micropot with a full-sized guitar pot to be able to adjust the gain more easily, but I am unsure of where to wire each lead of the full-sized pot to the circuit board, once I have removed the micropot. The micropot has three pc-board leads in a triangular configuration, two on the bottom, one on the top. The full-sized pot has the standard three leads in a row. Does anyone know which lead corresponds to each lead on the regular-sized pot? Is there a standard for the leads on micropots? Thanks so much!
