Behringer F3000FX with no bass output

Hi,

I picked this amp up second hand and only get output from the tweeter. Tried driving the 15" driver with an audio amp, and still got output only from the tweeter. Jumped from the connectors on the driver to another 15" driver with the amp on and got output.

So are the 15" drivers Behringer used prone to failure? Can they normally be repaired? Anyone have one FS from a fried amp? Should I be looking at alternative drivers?

The REAL question should be "Are used drivers prone to failure?". The answer is ANY driver by ANY manufacturer is, used or new.

You can really put any 15" 4ohm woofer in there.

Thanks, John. I have a couple of 4 ohm dual voice coil subs. Can one of them be used?
