  • Selecting inrush current limiters

I'm replacing the inrush limiters in a Madison power amp (no schematic available) and I'm sort of stumped at what I should replace them with. There are two of them in series going to the primary winding on the PT. There is also a relay that turns on to shunt around them after the amp gets going.
The originals are stamped SCK058, but I'm not finding a lot of relevant info on that number. Any suggestions on replacements?

its a 8A 28mW NTC which goes from 5 ohm to 0.093 ohms as it passes current at 25C (see p7 here: http://www.rihengqiang.com.cn/admin/...9171135515.pdf) should be an equivalent at digikey or mouser.

Thank you! I'm pretty sure I looked at that datasheet yesterday, but I guess I didn't scroll down far enough.
So, it kind of looks like these are labeled similar to bridge rectifiers, where the voltage and current are regularly part of the part number itself. (?)
I found one at Mouser that should work and I already have other stuff to order from them.

Thanks for the link, as well. Interesting stuff, but I don't think I'll be modding this amp.

        Very interestink link.
Best part, for me, is that São Paulo is a place I visit often, so I will be able to grab a bag of them easily.
        Thanks.
