Simple signal source

Just thought I would share what I did to create a signal source for amp testing.
I used a program called Goldwave. It allows you to create just about any type of sound source.
I made 100, 200, 500 and 1Khz signals at 100% and 50% at about 5 minutes each.
I also have white noise and brown noise.
I made these into MP3s and loaded them into a cheap MP3 player with a display screen.
I also put some music on it as well.
I just select up what signal I want. set it to track repeat and jack it into the amps.
I use the volume up and down to adjust the input signal strength and the Volume knob on the amp to adjust..Volume.
I have these test signal MP3 files free if anyone is interested.

I've uploaded mp3s to my posts before, and actually for the same reason (1k Hz sine wave). If you want to share them, a post in this thread is probably the best place.

If anyone has cool edit pro, it can generate tones at any frequency, sine wav of not. I use a 1k sine wav and just save it as a wav or mp3. Instead of making it long i just make a few second and set the media player to loop.
