caps in parallel or series

Hello,
i need to know which sums the voltage handling ability. In other words, if i have 2 caps that are 10 volt caps, which will give me 20 volts handling, series or parallel? Thank you.

Assuming the caps are identical, series will give you 20 Volts and half the value of a single cap.
