  • MIDI Organ Pedal modification help

I have a set of MIDI Organ Pedals, 1 octave. I'd like to use them so that when you stand on one it effectively latches, but I'd like to do it without changing the momentary contacts it currently has inside. I've done a little research and I think, from what I've read so far, the best way to do so would be using a flipflop circuit using relays. Does anyone have a schematic for such a circuit, or can anyone suggest a better way to go about it? It also has a reset switch which I'd like to put use to turn all of them off.

    Thanks all.

So it puts out MIDI. I'd say leave it alone and work with the sound module. Perhaps a job for the sustain pedal input?
Education is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned.
