TR 505 Sounding Bad

My old 1985 TR 505 the snare drun is starting to sound Tubby or hollow.I cleaned everything as best I could with Deoxit.Also are there any simple mods to make this thing sound a little tighter or sharper

Is the snare sound the only one that sounds hollow? If the others are ok, the data samples for the snare sound are corrupted. If all samples are effected it is probably a more conventional-to-fix audio patch problem. try triggering the snare alone, which can be done to isolate from possible control and midi by grounding one side of R75 to trigger.

Just the snare is distorted, Its olnly at the tail end of the sound,Also a latin tom is soundind hollow and fuzzy at the tail end too.The closed hihat is a tiny bit too
