cant figure out what diode this is

    cant figure out what diode this is

    can someone please help me with a part number for this diode or better yet where to get one, i typed the numbers on it on mousers website and nothing came up.
    it came out a crown power amp

    GI822 is the part number. The other is the date code. Type "GI822" into google and you'll see what it is...

      And that is a GI, not a G1...

      GI as in General Instrument

        Don't let the pic at Mouser fool you. It's wrong. The diode is correct.

        FYI- the Crown part# is: C 8383-9
