  • Sharing Powersupply

    hey hello

i dont really understand electicity, but here is what i want to do:
like guitar pedals share a power supply

i would like to do the same with my

    mfb synth lite II
    12V 300 mA

    mfb 522
    12V (no mA information .. i assume also 300)

    yamaha qy 70
12V (no clear information eather 500 ore 700 mA)

how much mA would the adapter need not to blow up ore the equipment ..
ore is it maybe a bad idea anyway?

thanks a lot for you answers

What you want to do is add up the current requirements.
    300 + 300 + 700 = 1300 ma's (1.3 amps) of current @ 12Volts.
Bump it up a little to be safe. 1.5 amps @12 Vdc.
You would want to verify that the DC jacks all have the same polarity.
Sometimes you will get one where the shell is postive & the tip is negative.
If that is the case, a little creative wiring of the plugs will fix that.
