  • Fender SR8300P Powered Mixer trouble,PLEASE HELP!

I have a Fender SR8300P powered mixer that shows to be on as far as the red light on the fun and the fan in the back working but when connected to monitors no sound will come out. What could the problem be? Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!

Here is a link to the manual.

You have not described how you have it hooked up.
(the monitor out jack is a line level signal meant to go to another amp)

Honestly I'm totally clueless when it comes to things of this nature. It's possible I was connecting things wrong but I'm not sure.

So how did you have it connected?
        Have you read the manual?

I appreciate the help so far. After looking over the manual all I can tell you is that I connected the main speakers to the output jacks on the mixer. When I did that I got no sound from it.

O/k. The speakers are hooked up.
What did you use for a signal input?
Where did you plug it in?
Are the gain controls on the input channel turned up?
Is the master volume turned up?

Volume was turned up,gain as well, plugged into the wall outlet and no clue what a signal output is?
