SUNN 300T gone wild

While using my Sunn 300T Friday night. From the beginning of show it started at full volume and no knobs, buttons or EQ on front control panel had any effect on it. I had to use volume & EQ on guitar to get thru night. Anyone had same experiences? I took it in to electronics shop and now working fine. Tech cannot duplicate cenario, HELLLLLP

that amp has a complicated preamp with tube and SS gain stages, and logic type switching if I recall. A thourough check of the power supply that feeds those preamp and switching components would be a good start. A intermittently loose or bad filter cap can wreak havoc...but of course all amps tend to behave better when the are in the amp doctors office...
