Behringer DDX3216 problems

Hi

I have a problem with the DDX 3216 is not working any moving fader.


The DDX3216 works in full, stores all the parameters are edited, but does not move the faders and the sound is perfect


When I move the faders manually, the display includes the movement. The memories that I edit, making the actual fader position when stored, but do recall, the display changes to show the position they have at the moment

I've checked visually power supply and shows no swelling or burst capacitor

Tensions are correct as indicated on the circuit board silkscreen

Checking circuit motor control board, I noticed the three IC12, IC15 and IC13 heated in excess, can not have much time because it burns your finger on. These are 74HC595 IC

If you experience with this fault I appreciate your help

Dispose of schematics diagram of the DDX 3216. It also has the technical means for any test.

Check the power supply to those ICs, is it correct voltage? Wrong voltage could damage the ICs.

ICs that are too hot to touch are bad and should be replaced.

GO through the row of motors. Are any of the motors showing short circuits? A shorted motor could be shorted terminal to terminal or from either terminal to ground. You can test the motors, disconnect them from the control circuitry, and touch a 9v battery to the motor leads momentarily. If the motor spins, it is probably OK.

With proper voltage, new ICs, and no shorted motors, power back up and see if it works.

The voltage of these ICs are checked and shows 5 v.

I will check the engines if they were derived or shorted

I check the driver transistors that control the motors and they are correct

It only remains to replace the 74HC595 and check results

In my ddx3216 fader doesn't work like your problem but the fan doesn't work too....

You have an 8v rail missing for the motor drive,also supplies the fan.
