if they could have gotten away with using a tl072 they would have.
Good point.
Besides, they used quite a few of them;the potential cost saving could have been important ... and they didnīt.

Yea i went ahead and bought the OPA2604's. Finished the amp and its running like a champ. Glad to have that one out of the shop. It didn't have a lot of big problems just a few insidious ones.
