  • True-bypass looper crosstalk

    Hey,
I've noticed that even when I have loops unplugged (partly or completely) that my guitar signal still passes a decent amount. I'm guessing it's just crosstalk from having a lot of wiring bundled together in a small space, but is there anything to do about it? Is that even the problem?

Considering the high amplification factor of guitar amps it could be coupling through the power supply. Careful grounding helps but won't usually eliminate it. Notice tha the "channel switching" on most guitar amps doesn't just open the loop for the added gain stage/s but also grounds the input and or output of those stages to avoid the crosstalk.
