  • Mixer Advice Required

I have a Behringer 8 channel mixer and a 5channel mixer of a different make, without having to purchase a larger mixer with more stereo inputs - is it possible to connect the two mixers together so I can use all the stereo inputs available ?
If so, what are the connections to be made ?

you will take the stereo line out of one mixer and connect it in two channels or two AUX inputs of the second mixer. Then the second mixers line outputs will go to your PA power amp...
This is a LINE OUT connection NOT a speaker out. You CANNOT combine speaker outputs from mixers. It will DAMAGE the mixer if you try that.
You could also "Y" connect line outputs of two mixers, but I think the sound quality would suffer...

The first suggestion is what you're looking for in this case. Shorting the output stages of two mixers together is not a good idea, and potentially damaging as well.
